Manchester United and Newcastle Boath team played very well

But Newcastle produced a brilliant response. Deservedly led at half time as Miguel Almiron bundled in an equaliser and Callum Wilson finished off a breakaway.

Interesting thing was Erling Haaland hit the post after half-time. Moments later Kieran Trippier’s stunning free kick beat Ederson to leave St James’ Park rocking and City in deep trouble.
